That's awesome to read, man! Sounds like it's really great for you!
How did you start out working there?
Thanks for viewing my profile! I've worked for a bunch of production companies including Aardman Animations and the BBC and I post about my experiences on NG. I also created the vaguely popular Steve series which I update once every million years. Whoops!

I had some relevant stuff on my CV that made it slightly easier to get a media job (some previous TV work, good knowledge of editing/image/animating software, being able to drive and so on) but mainly it was just perseverance - I sent them CVs and cover letters for the best part of two years and eventually they offered me a job!
Good luck and congrats on the job. I love your Adventures of Steve videos and hope the 2.5 year update is coming within the next year. Just wanted to wish you the best cause I enjoy your videos so much.
Thanks! Really nice to hear you like my old stuff. Apologies again for the savage delays on future Steve episodes, I'm working late most evenings and also do a few Saturdays - I'm not complaining as I love the job, but it's the main reason I've barely animated anything in months!

Wow! That's really cool that you get to work in one of the best animation companies there is. :) My brother and I have tinkered with stop-motion animation, but certainly only on an amateur level. Well, considering how much I've enjoyed Aardman productions over the years (Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run, Flushed Away, etc), I can only imagine what they're cooking up now for their next movie.
