Thanks for viewing my profile! I've worked for a bunch of production companies including Aardman Animations and the BBC and I post about my experiences on NG. I also created the vaguely popular Steve series which I update once every million years. Whoops!

This was a really great and interesting post, thanks for posting! I wish more people would post useful information that deals with the animation and the industry instead of stupid shit! :D

Thanks! I figured that I've always found this sort of stuff interesting so now I actually know a bit more about it myself, making posts about it seemed like a good plan. As ever, if there's anything else you (or anyone else) wants to ask about how things are done here, just give me a shout.

HOLY SHIT YOU ARE FROM BRISTOL! SO AM I!!!!!! Also this news post was cool

Haha yes I am, it's a cool place to live! I am really lucky to be working at Aardman given it is essentially the only big film company in the city, I certainly can't think of one like it. Still, there are loads of post-production and TV places here (my brother works at the BBC down Whiteladies Road!) so if you're interested in this kind of stuff, there's a lot of places to check out in Bristol.

thanks for the read :)

No problem, thanks for reading!

Wallace and Gromit!!! :D

This is extremely interesting! I've never seen a post that describes what it's actually like in an animation studio.

Thanks! I also hadn't read anything on NG about working for an animation studio, so when I got the Aardman job I figured at least a few people would want to know what it's like. There's more stuff in my earlier posts so have a look if you're interested.
